Write a Welcome Sequence

Draft a 3-part email onboarding sequence for a new B2B user.

The Scenario

A local accounting software startup just signed up a new small business. They currently just send one automated receipt. The founders want a Customer Success welcome sequence to get the user to actually set up their account and run their first payroll.

The Brief

Write a 3-part automated email sequence (Day 1, Day 3, Day 7) designed to drive product adoption.

Deliverables

  • Email 1 (Day 1): Welcome and the Single Most Important Task (e.g., connect bank account)
  • Email 2 (Day 3): A quick win / feature highlight (e.g., send your first invoice)
  • Email 3 (Day 7): The check-in and offer for a 15-min setup call if they are stuck

Submission Guidance

Do not overwhelm them in Email 1. One clear Call to Action (CTA) per email. Keep it short, punchy, and helpful.

Submit Your Work
