A food delivery startup's CEO gets a Monday morning email with the company's key metric. The data team has been arguing about what that metric and chart should be. Your job is to settle it.
The Brief
Choose the single most useful chart for this role and weekly cadence. Defend the choice. You cannot add a "second chart for context" and call it one chart.
Deliverables
- The chart type and exact metric (for example: "Weekly active restaurants, line chart, last 12 weeks")
- Three decisions you made (axis choice, what to exclude, comparison baseline) and why
- The one thing you would say out loud when showing this chart to the CEO
- One alternative you considered and rejected, with your reasoning
