Draw an ERD

Create an entity-relationship diagram for a booking system.

The Scenario

A beauty salon wants a booking system. They need to track customers, services offered, appointments, and payments. Some customers book multiple services in one appointment. The owner also wants to know which staff member performed each service.

The Brief

Design an entity-relationship diagram (ERD) for this system. Identify entities, attributes, relationships, and cardinalities.

Deliverables

  • An ERD (described in text or drawn) with at least 5 entities: Customer, Staff, Service, Appointment, Payment
  • Attributes for each entity including primary keys and foreign keys
  • Relationship descriptions with cardinality (one-to-many, many-to-many) and justification

Submission Guidance

An appointment can include multiple services (mani + pedi). This is a many-to-many relationship that needs a junction table. Show you understand this.
