Using the as-is leave process (manual emails, spreadsheet checks, 3-5 day turnaround), the HR director wants a redesigned process that reduces approval time to under 24 hours and eliminates the spreadsheet dependency.
The Brief
Design the to-be process. Show the before/after comparison with measurable improvement targets for each pain point.
Deliverables
- A to-be BPMN process diagram showing the redesigned flow
- A before/after comparison table: Pain Point → Current State → Future State → Improvement Target
- Technology recommendations: what system or tool enables the new process (with justification, not just "use software")
