A mid-size insurance company (300 employees) is rolling out a new claims management system. It affects claims processors, team leads, IT, the CFO, external assessors, and the call centre. You need to map who matters and how to engage them.
The Brief
Create a stakeholder map using the power/interest grid. Identify at least 8 stakeholders, place them on the grid, and define an engagement strategy for each quadrant.
Deliverables
- A power/interest grid with at least 8 stakeholders placed and justified
- An engagement strategy for each quadrant (Manage Closely, Keep Satisfied, Keep Informed, Monitor)
- One stakeholder who is likely to be misclassified and why (e.g., a call centre agent with low formal power but high informal influence)
