The Scenario
A South African digital bank is adding a "Send Money" feature to their app. Users can send money to contacts via phone number or bank account. The product owner needs user stories before the sprint starts.
The Brief
Write 8 user stories using the standard "As a [user], I want [goal], so that [benefit]" format. Cover the happy path, edge cases, and at least one admin/back-office story.
Deliverables
- Eight user stories in standard format with unique IDs
- Priority ranking (High/Medium/Low) for each story with justification
- One story that the team might miss (e.g., failed transfers, insufficient funds, daily limits)
Submission Guidance
"As a user, I want to send money" is too vague. "As a registered user, I want to send money to a contact using their phone number, so that I can transfer funds without knowing their bank details" is specific.
