Evaluate an RFP (Request for Proposal)

Score three BPO (call centre) vendors and recommend a winner.

The Scenario

Your startup is scaling and needs to outsource weekend customer support. You issued an RFP. You have received three proposals: Vendor A (Cheapest, based offshore), Vendor B (Mid-price, local but new), Vendor C (Expensive, highly experienced local).

The Brief

Create a scoring matrix to evaluate the three vendors objectively, score them based on the provided profiles, and write a recommendation memo to the CEO.

Deliverables

  • An evaluation matrix with 4 to 5 weighted criteria (e.g., Cost, Language/Accent, Tech Stack, SLA Guarantee)
  • The completed scoring for Vendors A, B, and C
  • A 1-page recommendation memo to the CEO defending your choice

Submission Guidance

Do not just pick the cheapest. Think about the brand impact. The CEO will look at your matrix to see if your recommendation is based on logic or gut feel.

Submit Your Work

Your submission is graded against the rubric on the right. If you pass, you get a public Badge URL you can share on LinkedIn. There is no draft save, so work offline first and paste your finished response here.
