A logistics company needs an operations dashboard showing delivery volumes, on-time rates, driver performance, and regional breakdowns. The ops manager checks it every morning.
The Brief
Design the dashboard specification. Choose the right chart types for each metric, design the filter system, and plan the responsive layout for desktop and tablet.
Deliverables
- A dashboard layout specification with at least 6 widgets: chart type, data it shows, and placement
- A filter system design: which dimensions are filterable (date range, region, driver) and where filters live
- A responsive strategy: how the dashboard adapts from desktop (1440px) to tablet (768px)
- One data visualisation anti-pattern you avoided and why (e.g., "no pie charts for comparing 8 categories")
