The Scenario
An online tutoring company wants to run Google Search Ads for the first time. They offer Maths, English, and Science tutoring for high school students. Their monthly budget is R15,000.
The Brief
Design the campaign structure. Define the campaigns, ad groups, keywords (with match types), and write one ad for each ad group. You do not need a Google Ads account — document everything in Markdown.
Deliverables
- The campaign structure: campaign names, ad group names, and 5-8 keywords per ad group with match types (broad, phrase, exact)
- One responsive search ad per ad group with 3 headlines and 2 descriptions
- A list of negative keywords to prevent wasted spend
Submission Guidance
Match types matter enormously. Broad match for "maths tutor" will show your ad for "math games" and "tutor salary". Show you understand this.
